Become a tester
Developers need real people to try their apps for two weeks before Google lets them publish. You get paid for doing it properly.
What you need
- An Android phone you use every day.
- The Google account signed in to Play on that phone. You sign in here with the same account.
- A UPI id (India) or a PayPal email (everywhere else) for payouts.
What a job looks like
- Accept a job and open its opt-in link. Tap "Become a tester", then install from Play.
- Upload a screenshot of the Play Store page showing the beta badge. We verify it by hand.
- On days 1, 4, 8 and 12, open the app, do what the developer asked, and upload a screenshot with one line.
- Write at least two feedback reports with screenshots, the first within the first week. Bugs, confusing screens, ideas.
- Keep the app installed until day 14. Then the payout is recorded and paid.
Pay
$1.00 per completed assignment, $1.25 once your reliability score reaches 80. New testers can hold two assignments at a time; after the first completion, ten. Ten assignments is about twenty minutes of work a week.
Invite friends
Every tester gets a personal invite link. When a friend who joins through it finishes their first test, you earn $0.50, with no limit on how many friends you invite. One level only, no fees, and only real completed testing counts. See the terms for the full rules.
Rules that are enforced
- One account per person. We fingerprint devices and review collisions.
- Missing a check-in by two days drops the assignment with no pay and lowers your score.
- Proof that does not match the developer's console is rejected and lowers your score.
- Below a score of 20 you cannot accept jobs. Scores and reasons are always visible to you.
