Terms of service

1. The service

App Testers, operated by TechSystemLab, connects Android developers who need closed-test participants with individuals who test apps for payment. We provide matching, evidence collection and a draft of answers. We do not guarantee that Google will grant production access.

2. Developers

• You must own or be authorised to publish the app you submit.
• You must not use the service to manipulate ratings, reviews, installs or rankings on your public listing.
• Fees are charged per job and shown before payment. A job starts only when the payment provider confirms payment.
• You are responsible for your own Play Console, including adding testers and releasing updates.

3. Testers

• One account per person, used on one device. Automated, emulated or shared accounts are prohibited and lead to a ban without payment.
• You are paid only for assignments completed as specified: opt-in verified, four check-ins and two feedback reports.
• You must install apps on your own device from Google Play. You use third-party apps at your own risk.
• Payouts are made to the handle you supplied. Changes to the handle take effect after 48 hours.

4. Referral programme

• A tester can share a personal invite link. When someone who signed up through that link completes their first test, the inviter earns the referral reward shown in their dashboard (currently $0.50, paid in INR by UPI in India and in USD by PayPal elsewhere).
• The reward is for the friend's completed testing work. Nothing is paid for sign-ups, installs, reviews or ratings, and no fee is ever charged to join.
• The programme has one level only: you earn nothing for people invited by the people you invited.
• Only new accounts created through your link count. You cannot invite yourself or claim an existing account.
• We do not pay rewards for fraudulent, duplicate or same-device accounts, or where either account is banned. We may withhold or reverse a reward for abuse.
• We may change the reward amount or end the programme with notice on this page; rewards already earned are kept.
• If you share your link publicly, label the post as an advertisement (for example, start it with "Ad:"), because you earn from it. The share text we provide already does this.
• You are responsible for any tax due on what you earn. We may ask for tax details if your yearly earnings reach a reporting threshold.

5. Fraud and termination

We may suspend or terminate any account for fraud, misrepresentation or breach of these terms, and withhold payments related to the breach. We keep an audit log of actions taken.

6. Refunds

7. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, TechSystemLab is not liable for indirect losses, including lost revenue from a delayed or refused Play listing. Our total liability is limited to the fee paid for the job in question.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Kolkata.
